Wabi-Sabi is a set of 7 zen aesthetic design principles of which we focus on 3 which are FUKINSEI (imbalanced, imperfection, asymmetry), SHIZEN (naturalness, free of pretense) and DATSUZOKU (unconventional). While the aesthetics of Smart Doll are based on Anime/Manga (Japanese cartoon and comics) culture, the core concepts behind our product design and company philosophy are based on a set of Japanese design principles known as Wabi-Sabi.
